FAQs

Set up fees?

All your set up fees are included in the bundles. For other orders we have standard set up fees for embroidery of: Small logo (up to 100mm wide): £10.00 + VAT Large logo (up to 260mm wide): £20.00 + VAT The set up fee is a one off cost to convert the design into stitches, it will not need to be paid for again on future orders providing there are no changes or alterations. If your logo needs to be redrawn for print we can advise you on the cost of this on sight of artwork. We aim to keep costs down for the customer wherever possible.

How do I know what size to order?

On our website each item has its own size guide, please check these carefully before you confirm your order as the size guides do differ from brand to brand.

How do the Bundles work?

Our bundles are there to give you great garments at great prices! The bundles have been put together based on our experience, they are ideal for workwear from sole traders to large companies. The items in the bundles cannot be swapped out for any other items, if you cannot see what you are looking for in the bundles please contact us for a quote on 01484 359657 or email [email protected]. The bundles all include a printed or embroidered logo on the (wearer’s) left chest. They also include the set up fee and carriage so there are no hidden fees! You can add a back logo onto some of the items for an additional fee, this is shown in the order process.

What size will my logo be?

The maximum print area is 35cm wide by 40cm high. All design sizes are specified by their width, with the height set proportionally to the width. Our expert team can provide guidance on their recommended size on sight of your design. As a rough guide we would use these guidelines: Left Chest/Right chest 70-100mm Centre Back/Centre Chest 200-300mm Left/Right Sleeve 70-100mm Top Chest/Top Back/Bottom Back 150-300mm Front of beanie 100mm wide, 50mm high Front of cap 65mm high Please note, the recommended sizes are a general guide and not all logos can be made to the maximum size. When choosing a position, please take into account the design, and how it would look. Please contact us if you would like any help.

Can I have some advice on my logo?

We are happy to help and advise on our print and embroidery methods, we offer a wide range of options which can be overwhelming so if you’re unsure please reach out to us and we can work with you to find the best way forward. Some logos may have elements that cannot be reproduced in your chosen decoration method, if this is the case we will contact you to discuss this and look at producing a design that will work better and make sure you are happy with it before we proceed. What does GSM mean?

GSM stands for Grams per Square Meter and is how the thickness of a garment is measured. The higher the GSM number, the thicker the fabric.

How should I send my logo?

You can upload your logo via the website or on email to [email protected]. Ideally vector artwork is the best file for us to work with, these will usually be in .ai, .eps or .pdf format. We would ask that ideally all artwork is 300 dpi to ensure a quality reproduction, a general rule I that if your image appears blurry or pixelated on screen then the quality would be poor in printing. If you aren’t sure if you have the correct artwork or if it will be good enough please get in touch and a friendly artworker will be in touch to work with you. All artwork concerns will be flagged with you before your order goes into production.

How long will my order take?

Typically all orders are completed 7-10 days from artwork approval and payment. Delivery time is 1-2 days on top of this. We will always strive to complete and despatch orders as soon as possible. If you need your order sooner please contact us to see if this is doable.

Questions on embroidered items?

All our embroidered items will come with a white material on the back of the embroidery, this is the back we use to stabilise the fabric. This will soften as it is washed, it will help to keep structure in your design as it is worn and washed. Some fleeces may come with a clear film between the letters/stitches, this is a water soluble film that we use to prevent the stitches falling into the pile, we try to remove all of this before despatch however if you do see this it will come away on the first wash of the garment. Embroidery rings are a normal part of production, we have to hoop the garments securely to get the best quality embroidery, whilst we do endeavour to remove them please note that they will come out in the first wash.

DTG Orders

On dark items we use a pretreatment solution before we print your design, this allows your design to stay vibrant without the colours draining into the material. You may still see some of the pretreatment when you receive your order, it may appear a little shiny or in a box around the print, if you do this will come out in the first wash or it will continue to disappear over time if not washed.

Do you provide samples?

We have no minimum orders on clothing so you are welcome to purchase single items for you to check whether they are right for you before a larger order is placed. For promotional item samples please contact us on [email protected].

How do I care for my new clothing?

We want your garments to stay looking good wash after wash. To ensure they keep you looking your best, we recommend you follow our easy wash care guide below. The manufacturers wash care label, does not take your personalised design into account: - Before washing, undo buttons, close zips and check pockets for loose or sharp objects - Wash at 30° - Wash inside out - Do not use excessive fabric softener – this can deteriorate the print adhesives and cause peeling - Do not bleach - Wash with similar colours - Wash with similar textured garments - To avoid excess friction, do not overload your washing machine - Do not leave in a wet environment - Tumble dry on a low heat - Lay flat to dry to avoid shrinking - Do not dry clean. Chemicals used in dry cleaning can damage the print on your garment - Never iron over the printed elements - Iron on the reverse side using the lowest heat setting - For best results wash before use We expect the customisation to last the lifetime of the garment if this wash care guide is adhered to.

Can I provide the garments for you to decorate?

We can print and embroider onto your own garments, however the customer must take full responsibility for any damages or errors on the garments.

How do I cancel my order?

Delivery and collection

Customers can collect from our office in Huddersfield, our address is Unit 9, Park Valley Business Park, Meltham Road, Huddersfield, HD4 7BH. We are open weekdays 930am til 530pm. If you would like collect please tick the collection box when placing your order and we will be in touch when they are ready to collect. Our delivery service is with a next day courier, please provide any specific delivery details when placing your order if required.

Returns of decorated clothing

In the unlikely circumstance that you aren’t completely satisfied with your garments, please contact us, and we will do our best to rectify the situation. If the garments are personalised, we cannot accept returns unless we have made a mistake or the garments are faulty. Please return any faulty goods to us within 30 days of receipt for investigation. Please be aware The Distance Selling Regulations Act of 2000 does not apply to ‘personalised goods or goods made to a consumer’s specification’. We are not able to replace personalised garments due to them being the wrong size as we there is a sizing guide on all items.
